Goodbye 2020!!

Hey look Ma, we made it! It’s December! This has been one of the most challenging and trying years we have ever seen but as it comes to an end, it’s important now more than ever to come together and celebrate! Of course all while maintaining social distancing and keeping it clean 😉
No matter what your holidays look like, we can all agree that there is nothing like the smells of December! Whether it’s the fresh pine smell of Christmas trees, the sweet smell of baked goods or the spicy cinnamon winter candles we burn, you can always count on these scents to get us all in the holiday spirits! That’s why this month we want to share with you our love for essential oils and how to use them to get your home smelling clean and fresh!

Everyone knows essential oils are great for giving your home that nice, potent scent but they’re also great for cleaning! If you add a couple of drops to your natural cleaning products, it can provide additional antibacterial and antiseptic benefits. You can even just add a few drops to some water in a spray bottle and spritz your counters and/or furniture for a quick freshening up.

When it comes to essential oils, there are so many scents to choose from! If you’re looking for a warm, Christmas feel we would recommend peppermint, eucalyptus, cinnamon bark or pine. Each one has it’s own unique smell as well as it’s own unique cleaning properties. One of our favorite combinations is lemon and basil. The lemon oil is great for stains, grease and grime and it works as an antiseptic, antibacterial and antimicrobial. It leaves a great, clean scent and combines nicely with the basil oil for an even more enhanced smell! [Try adding a few drops to a homemade baking soda/vinegar concoction and watch it work magic!]
The holidays don’t have to be stressful so if you need some extra help keeping it clean this season, you know who to call! Remember to show our socials your love by following, liking and subscribing! ❤️

We hope everyone has a safe, happy and clean holiday season! We’ll see you all in 2021!
