Happy New Year, friends! We hope everyone welcomed 2021 happily and safely! With 2020 behind us, it’s the perfect time for new beginnings and a clean slate. We love the idea of a fresh start with new goals and aspirations!
As we welcome in the new year, we wanted to share with you guys some tips to help start us all off on the right foot!
- New year, new layout! Now is a great time for a change of scene in our homes. Moving the furniture around is one of our favorite ways to freshen up the energy in our home and it also allows us to clean spots we can never get to! Moving the couch over to the opposite side of the living room or even just putting the tv on a different wall will give your space a whole new look and give you the opportunity to do some deep cleaning!
- Out of sight… Out of mind. Right?? Wrong! We often forget those tough to reach places and we neglect to clean them. Start the new year off right and dust the ceiling fans and TVs! Get down to the nitty gritty and clean the inside of the oven and microwave! Empty out the drawers and cupboards and give them a good wipe down. There’s nothing like an actual clean slate! 😉
- When is the last time you whacked your mats??? We’re talking about a good, shakedown of your area rugs and welcome mats! Take those rugs and mats and give them the good deep clean they deserve! Shake them out and get to vacuuming. There’s so much dirt and debris that gets caught in them and you don’t want to go into the new year with last year’s filth! We recommend using one of our favorite products; Resolve Carpet Cleaner!
- Cleaning supplies… They’re there for us when we need them the most and often times we ignore their wear and tare. Make sure to switch out your supplies from time to time! Get a new tub scrubber before you clean the bathroom this year! Say goodbye to your old broom and treat your floors to a new one! A new tool will really make a difference to your deep clean!
